a series of holiday cards with cyanotype prints exploring the idea of home

There will be 109 cards made in total to honor the magical space at 1009 Market Street that provided space for the cyanotype prints to be created.  

The series of cyanotype printed cards will focus on exploring the idea of home, spatially and conceptually. 

Specifically, what does it really mean to have a place to live, from having a spacious, functional kitchen, to being able to shower a bathroom without thinking about bothering others? 

What does it mean to have a place to call home for our self-identity and being? 

All project proceeds will go to Hospitality House SF, the organization that funds the community art studio and provides opportunities and resources for personal growth and self-determination to homeless people and neighborhood residents in San Francisco’s Tenderloin Neighborhood, Sixth Street Corridor, and Mid-Market Area.
